Creating a Project From a Sales Order

This guide explains how to create projects from sales orders in HaloPSA using project templates. It includes applying templates to products, adding sales order lines, milestones, budgets, and linking purchase orders to projects. To create a project from a sales order, you link a product's project template to the sales order line. Additional sales order lines can be added to existing projects, and milestones can be applied if names match existing milestones. Budgets link to the project from sales orders. Linking Purchase Orders to Projects

This article explains how to link purchase orders to projects using a specific feature. By enabling a setting in the sales order configuration, products associated with a project can be automatically updated in the project ticket once received. The project ticket updates automatically when the order is fulfilled, ensuring efficient tracking and management of project-related purchases.
