Restricting Asset Access
The article outlines how to restrict agent access to assets and specific asset fields within an asset management system. Permissions can be managed through three different types of asset access controls: Read/Write permissions for asset types, access control for asset groups, and access control for both asset groups and types. These settings dictate whether agents can access, create, or modify assets. Separate procedures are also provided for restricting access to certain asset fields as well as asset system fields, depending on agent roles and permissions.
