| Field | Type | Description |
| Tab Name | Text | The name given to the custom tab. |
| Sequence | Integer | The order in which the custom tab is shown on the list of custom tabs. |
| Type | Single Select | The type can be iframe, dashboard, or Fields Iframe will embed this Tab onto another website. Dashboard is used to create ticket dashboard tabs that can be added to tickets. Guide: Ticket Dashboard |
| Number of field columns | Integer | This is the number of columns the custom tab is split into, so if it was a tab on i.e. a ticket, the tab can be split into multiple different columns. |
| URL | Text | Only shows when the entity is set to "Navigation Menu" or when the type is set to "Iframe". This is the URL which opens when this tab/Area on the Navigation Menu is selected. |
Open in a new tab | Checkbox | Only shows when the entity is set to "Navigation Menu". When selected, the URL will open in a new tab. |
| Open in Halo as iFrame | Checkbox | (v2.244+) Only shows when the entity is set to "Navigation Menu". When selected, the URL will open in Halo as an iframe. |
| Send secure URL parameter | Checkbox | (v2.252+) Only shows when the type is set to "Iframe". When checked an Iframe secret will be generated, which will be used with the ID of the logged in Agent to create a HMAC. This HMAC can be added to the URL field using the variable $_HMAC. |
