| Name | Free Text | The name of the status |
| Automatically make the Asset inactive when this status is chosen | Checkbox | Decide whether or not to make the asset inactive as soon as this status is chosen. This is useful for statuses assets have when they are no longer in use, such as "Broken" or "Decommissioned" as agents do not need to manually make the asset inactive when setting the status, they only need to set the status. Inactive assets are hidden from list views by default. |
| Prevent Assets from having this Status if they have any parent or child Assets | Checkbox | (v2.244+) When enabled, agents will not be able to make an asset inactive until it's relationships have been removed (dependency diagram updated). Forcing you to consider dependencies and re-structure before making an asset inactive. This functionality is used in conjunction with asset workflow which is on our development roadmap. This does not apply to integrations, they can make an asset inactive regardless of it's relationships. |
