What is the Sage 50 Canada Integration?
The Sage 50 (Canada) Integration allows Canadian-based Sage accounts to connect into Halo to sync invoices.
Downloading the Accounts Integrator
You will first need to download the Halo accounts integrator. The accounts integrator you need will depend on the version of Sage 50 (Canada) you are using.
For Sage 50 2022 and prior (pro and premium accounts only)
- Download the accounts integrator here: https://s3.halopsa.com/HaloAccountsIntegrator.zip
For Sage 50 2023 and above
- Download the accounts integrator here: https://s3.nethelpdesk.com/ftp/HaloAccountIntegratorSageCA2023.zip
Connecting to Sage 50 Canada
Once downloaded open the accounts integrator to begin setup. When opening ensure you select 'Sage 50 Canada'.

When starting the Halo Accounts Integrator for the first time you need to enter credentials from an API Application created in Halo. For information on how to setup the application needed see our guide here.
Then you will need to enter credentials and the file path for the .SAI file (location can be found by going to File > Properties in Sage) to connect the accounts integrator to your Sage. Select "Multi-User" mode if you would like the accounts integrator to be able to sync data whilst the Sage 50 file is already in use (recommended if you are on an edition of Sage that supports this, premium and above).
Note: The .SAI file must be local to the account integrator application - this is not yet fully tested with Network Shares/Drives.

Once connected follow the instructions given in the accounts integrator application to configure the rest of the integration.
