The functionality here is only used when the setting in Tickets General Settings for "Split child Tickets tab into Ticket link types" is enabled.
On Ticket Type level, a default "linking type" can be specified for linking tickets of that type. When checked, the Child Tickets tab on ticket views will be split into those types, as opposed to all being in the one menu.
The only use for this menu is to specify these types and the column profile used when viewing them.
| Field | Type | Description |
| Name | Free Text | This will be the name of the Link Type as displayed elsewhere throughout the system. This is mostly used for seperating Child Tickets into sub-groups. |
| Sequence | Integer | When creating child tickets, the link type they have associated with them (Set on the ticket type) will determine the ordering of the tabs on the parent ticket. |
| Column Profile for Child Tickets tab | Single Selection | The Column Profile chosen from this list will be used as a default when viewing tabs of this type of Child Ticket from their Parent tickets. |
